In Cyber Santander , we have a very clear objective: to be the best place to work in the world. In our team, the VMO (Value Management Officer), we focus on generating the maximum value for our clients from Cyber. To achieve this, Cyber must operate perfectly. To do this, we are constantly improving in several aspects:

  • Demand management: Having well-organized, defined, transparent, and managed demand management is key to aligning capacity with incoming work. Using Lean and Kanban techniques, we are building all the layers for management: Portfolio, Programs, and teams.

  • OKRs: Changing from traditional objectives to real OKRs is a great challenge that needs to be addressed at all levels. Changing the mindset and helping to generate TOP-DOWN and DOWN-TOP objectives is what we are currently focusing on.

  • Engagement: It is very important to understand the needs of our colleagues and ensure that they have everything they need to develop their full potential.

  • Leadership: To make any change sustainable over time, it is important to change the mindset of leaders and provide them with tools to be part of the change.

  • QBR/PIP: Having Inspection and Adaptation processes at the structural level is fundamental to ensure that our initiatives and objectives are aligned. In addition, dependencies and risks are detected in advance.

These are just some of the initiatives we are immersed in. Support from top management is total. The VMO has the freedom to implement any ideas that it believes are necessary to continue improving Cyber.


We are looking for someone who: :

  • Has experience in transformation and change processes.

  • Has knowledge of Lean, Kanban, Scrum, OKRs, and other frameworks/methodologies that may be useful.

  • Feels comfortable in environments of high autonomy and freedom.

  • Is easy-going with people.

  • If you are familiar with Jira, Confluence, Service Now…even better.

  • Has an optimal professional level of English.

  • Master´s/Bachelor´s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / or similar.

  • MBA will be positively valued.

  • Experience as an Agile Coach

  • Relevant experience in PMO or Program Management. Having skills for the detailed management of programs of medium high complexity is a must.

  • Experience in technology consulting and/or implementation of systems in medium/large size projects.

  • Languages: C1/C2 level in English.

  • Certifications of Cybersecurity will be valued positively.


  • Knowledge and certifications in agility, agile project management, experiential design, design thinking and/or digital transformation.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with an ability to persuade and influence others

  • Spoken and written negotiation and communication skills are necessary

  • Ability to define, shape and develop project requirements.

  • Experience in dealing with ambiguity and embracing change in a fast-paced environment

  • Proactivity and creativity

  • Orientation to results

  • Knowledge and experience managing JIRA or ServiceNOW tools will be positively valued.
