Your Role and Responsibilities
Since Turbonomic was acquired by IBM in June 2021 the business has seen significant inbound interest from System Integrators, Value added resellers and boutique consultancies who are building practices around the Turbonomic proposition.
We are seeking a Partner Technical Specialist to work closely with the EMEA leadership, go to market and ecosystem teams to capitalise on the opportunity as Turbonomic scales in every country across the EMEA region. In this role you will be responsible for evangelising with, technical management and enablement of, selected strategic partners and owning the technical execution plan for how the selected partners will develop their business practices.
The Partner Technical Specialist will be the technical brand representative for the Turbonomic offering within the ecosystem community, communicating our technical strategy, enabling our vision, and bringing partners into full competence with the Turbonomic go to market strategy.

- Be the trusted advisor who supports our partner community in solving problems and demonstrating real value for their customers with Turbonomic services while
- Build and develop deep relationships with the partner presales technical engineers to create and expand mind share and competencies.
- Keep up to date with the fast-paced cloud, cloud native, and datacentre marketplace and technologies to be ready to contribute on those topics.
- Identify learning gaps and opportunities in the partner base, and track readiness for those partners you are responsible for
- Partner with the IBM Turbonomic presales and sales teams in partner-led opportunities
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Proven pre-sales experience in a technology environment
- Technological understanding of IBM’s AIOps offerings and how Turbonomic fits in the solution spectrum
- Director/Executive level sales experience
- Understanding of the AIOps competitive landscape
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- A broad professional network of customers and business partners in the IT Ops marketplace.
- Experience in the operations management/APM space for similar vendors or partner in this space is highly advantageous.
Fluency in German and English
