Your Role and Responsibilities
As the TSS Technical Software Pre-Sales you are responsible to provide technical IT infrastructure insight as part of sales team selling support solutions in the Netherlands market.

Technology Support Services (TSS) provides a modular set of technical hardware and software support services, designed to keep the clients multivendor IT environment running around-the-clock.

Our support solutions are backed by trusted product expertise, a globally-enabled support infrastructure with thousands of highly trained support technicians, and benefits from the usage of the artificial intelligence of Watson Agent Assist. You strive to be the client’s technical interface and help clients to integrate and optimize support.

Our advanced technologies and global partnerships with leading server, storage, networking, security and software providers enable you to add value to our clients in this disruptive era. Fueled by the fast adoption of Hybrid Cloud and AI, the TSS support portfolio is quickly expanding also into the (open source) software domain.
In this role you:

  • Design and validate complex multi-product support solutions including support for software components of client IT environment.
  • Listen and understand customer requirements and can translate to a technology solution.
  • Have strong communications skills.
  • Position the solution effectively against competition.
  • Team well with others and understand how to leverage technical components of IBM to the customers benefit.
  • Take pride in being a member of the technical community of IBM and his partners.
  • Are a perpetual student, keen on maintaining high skill levels and proper credentials, both internal and external.
  • You are part of the global TSS sales organization and you will receive business direction from the Netherlands TSS Sales manager.

Multi Vendor services represents one of the fastest growing TSS offerings. This role offers an opportunity for an ambitious technical profile to develop this business even further!

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Fluent in English and Dutch
  • Optional knowledge of French
  • Knowledge and understanding of the IT Infrastructure domain and specifically of the Opensource Software Domain and Multivendor Software components (Oracle, Microsoft)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience in signing support contracts (hardware and/or software)
  • Proven IT Services experience in the Dutch market
