Top Business Tech is on the search for a tech journalist to help find, develop, and deliver original b2b tech news stories. If you have passion for technology, an eye for details and a level of editorial understanding then this role could be perfect for you.

As part of a fast-growing and agile technology news publication, you will have the opportunity to shape your own role with a wide variety of tasks from PR and content writing, editing, proof-reading and more.

The Role:

You will report daily to the publication editors and company stakeholders to discuss emerging news stories for the publication to report on as well as produce, schedule and publish original content and news stories for our CTO and CISO b2b audience on the Top Business Tech website. You will also work with other departments to support them with advertorials for clients and proof-reading sales and marketing collateral. You will also be liaising and building relationships with PR contacts to gather exclusive news as well as developing your own brand with us through moderating webinars and hosting interviews. Roles & responsibilities

  • To write high-quality press releases, draft article, and opinion editorials
  • Manage blog calendar and posts, including writing original content and overseeing third-party contributions
  • Support our webinars as a speaker or moderator and work closely with the events team to release prompt news stories and distribute them over the web.
  • Prepare regular internal reports that provide insight into content performance
  • Provide copywriting and copyediting support for other marketing activities as needed
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams (digital, sales, insights) to enable content ideas and collaborations.

– Good understanding of social media mechanics (hashtags, tagging etc)

Nice to have

Basic use of adobe creative suite

Experience creating video content

Salary: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
