Responsibilities

Be part of the Infrastructure team that designs, provisions, maintains, and supports our operations environments, developer tools, and office infrastructure

Design, spec, and build a scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant validator node (staking) infrastructure for multiple blockchain protocols

Set up, extend, and maintain our keycritical blockchain node infrastructure for production, UAT, and test systems, and become the recognised specialist within the company to evolve our internal monitoring systems and enable an external monitoring system

Manage and extend existing CI/CD pipelines using standard tools, such as Jenkins, Ansible, Azure DevOps, etc.

Manage the deployment of containers using Kubernetes or Docker

Plan and design services that can run in any cloud platform or on-prem using your infrastructure orchestration skills

Design, deploy, and operate infrastructure in an automated, “infrastructure as code” approach

Develop scripts and other automation to streamline operations

Work with the software engineering teams to identify and troubleshoot issues in production

Maintain documentation of infrastructure design, practices, and procedures

Share your technical solutions and product ideas with the team; contribute to continuous improvement of our development and release processes

Shape DevOps practices and processes adopting the best practices

Be security and risk focused, and have a strong understanding around IT security, including WAF

Knowledge of IAM technology, e.g. Keycloak, Active Directory, etc.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a DevOps specialist or System Engineer

Experience managing CI/CD pipelines, disaster recovery, and business continuity

You have extensive experience (privately or professionally) of operating blockchain nodes/validator nodes, and have good knowledge of various blockchain protocols

An inquisitive individual with a proclivity for privacy, cyber security, and a hands-on attitude
