Your Role and Responsibilities

Envizi supports over 150 clients globally on their journey to become more sustainable, we are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our Implementation and Services team. At Envizi, our Project Managers excel by leading and coordinating a project team’s overall performance, scope, cost, and deliverables. Our clients rely on timely and efficient status reports, and as Project Manager, you will drive the charge with project direction, metric definition, and performance management. Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and foster strong relationships with clients
  • Responsible for client management during the implementation
  • Facilitate handover of new projects from the sales/pre-sales team
  • Ensure accurate documentation of and delivery to the project scope
  • Facilitate workshops to understand client business requirements, including data sources, ongoing data management processes, and reporting requirements
  • Act as the primary interface between internal resources and the client
  • Overall ownership and management of the implementation process from order receipt to project completion in accordance with our implementation methodology
  • Preparation and coordination of Work Orders and Change Requests required during an implementation
  • Project governance activities, such as: planning, risk management, budget and time tracking, information management and reporting (internal and external)
  • Escalate any unresolved enquiries that need further investigation
  • Project management of allocated internal projects and initiatives
  • Resource planning (across teams), negotiation and management
  • Management of project team resource performance to achieve project deliverables.
  • Track project invoice milestones and communicate to administration for action in a timely manner
  • Ensure all project artefacts are created in line with company best practices and are stored online in the relevant Project management of partner activities in accordance with defined best practices, such as partner enablement and solution development
  • Should be well versed with project management domains: Initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Required

  • Strong working knowledge of project-planning tools like MS Project, MS Excel, MS Power point
  • Leadership competencies for team building, client relations, Negotiation, decision making, problem solving and conflict management
  • Must be able to develop great relationships with all types of people
  • Efficiently prioritise workload to ensure effective engagement with all projects
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional work ethic and high attention to detail
  • Market knowledge of the sustainability and energy management sector advantageous
  • Experience in a Software as a Service environment desirable
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Ability to work with clients at various levels of their organisation.
  • Ability to provide a calming influence to clients who have experienced issues.
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment, and to deadlines.
  • Customer service skills
  • Troubleshooting skills and logical thinking
  • Dynamic team player


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Bonus, but not essential

  • 2 or more years’ experience managing a number of concurrent small-medium sized software implementation projects – up to 10 projects at one time
  • Experience implementing business software solutions such as accounting systems, reporting tools, CRM, or business intelligence solutions
  • Ideally will have had experience working with end-user, non-technical clients (as opposed to internal IT projects)
  • Software vendor experience preferred
  • Energy/Environment industry experience (i.e. domain knowledge) a plus
  • Experience working in an Agile project environment
  • Resource management experience
  • Formal project management qualifications will be well-regarded but are not essential
