Supply Chain Planning Consultant

Your Role and Responsibilities

Our supply chain planning team helps clients to define and orchestrate planning across the end-to-end value chain – providing insight to optimize the operations. We are looking for experienced consultants / industry planners to join and help grow our supply chain planning capabilities within IBM Consulting UK & Ireland.

The individuals will deliver vision through to implementation, working collaboratively with colleagues, client account teams and the wider IBM network.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive pursuit and closure of supply chain planning opportunities working closely with IBM colleagues
• Support the delivery of supply chain planning engagements (from vision to implementation) for clients
• Be an active member of the UK & Ireland Supply Chain & Procurement management team to help the business be successful and be a great place to work for colleagues

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Significant experience with supply chain planning transformation with blue chip organizations, across business sectors including Retail, Consumer and Industrial

• Deep experience of supply chain planning systems – through high level

design, process/systems architecting and realizing solutions. Demonstrable

track record of success and expertise with one or more of:

• AWS
• Blue Yonder
• Kinaxis
• o9
• Oracle
• SAP (IBP)
• Demonstrate success in a multi-stakeholder environment and experience of large-scale supply chain transformation
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate information-intensive and complex interactions in plain language, across Europe
• Creative self-starter, who can work hands on and lead teams
