The Posting Execution Service sits within Wholesale Payments Technology Account Services, which is part of the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB). We are looking to grow our Software Engineering team to help meet an increase in demand for the capabilities we have built. Additional features are required as part of several strategic multi-year investments that impact multiple stakeholders, as well as an initiative to re-platform onto the cloud. In this team, we look for people who are keen to understand the problems faced by our business, and can apply their technical expertise to help solve them. You will be working in an inclusive environment with helpful, approachable teammates – using modern development techniques to deliver increments of change at speed.

We welcome applicants with experience across some/all of the following technologies:

  • Java
  • Spring Boot
  • Maven
  • JUnit, Cucumber
  • Relational Databases (ideally Oracle)

– Messaging – REST, MQ, Kafka

  • Kubernetes

Candidates should also possess:

Effective time management

Proactive, self-starting mentality

Experience of Agile & Scrum methodologies

Proficiency in developmental toolsets

Knowledge of industry-wide best practices

Strong communication skills

Familiarity with CI/CD

An interest in Distributed Ledger Technologies (Blockchain) and knowledge of JPM COIN would be advantageous.J.P.
