Software Engineer (Java Kotlin Full Stack) Amsterdam to €85,000

Are you a skilled Software Engineer looking for an opportunity to progress your career whilst working with a modern tech stack and continually improving your skills?

You could be progressing your career at a global FinTech company that produce solutions for Commodities trading.

As a Software Engineer you will work across the full technology stack with a focus on backend systems but also with some front end (JavaScript, Angular) work. You’ll quickly gain an understanding of the complete ecosystem of the modern, distributed application with a broad scope of work including AWS, mobile applications, trading and transfer functionality, integration of 3 rd party platforms. You’ll continually seek improvement to the design, scalability and robustness of the system and will also get involved with greenfield projects to reshape the business through improved trading, custody and transactional infrastructure using blockchain technology.

WFH Policy:

You’ll join colleagues in the Amsterdam office two days a week with flexibility to work from home the other three days.

Requirements:

You have strong serverside Java and / or Kotlin experience

You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures

You also have some JavaScript, Angular, React front end skills

You have a good understanding of CI/CD, DevOps

You’re collaborative, enjoy problem solving and continually learning

It would be great if you also have experience or an interest in Ethereum (Web 3 / Solidity)
