We are looking for a SAP Service Delivery Manager (SDM) with abilities to manage all IT services for maintaining
SAP Alliance (SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and satellites) for a minimum period of one year. Additionally the SDM is expected
to maintain an overview of all ongoing projects on SAP Alliance and to support SAP technical projects (upgrades,
migrations, carve outs, etc. )
SAP Alliance has seen the light in 2004 and is the main backoffice system
modules FICO, MM, SD & HR. The landscape includes SAP BW, SAP Portal and other satellites (Basware,
Brainware, Opentext, …) . Over 50 companies are managed in SAP Alliance and we have over 2500 ECC users (if
you include CATS users by the end of 2022, we will well go over 5000 users).
You will be in lead of all Keep-It-Running & Maintenance services and maintaining service levels towards the
business. You will coordinate with SAP domain leads to achieve the best results for the SAP service and ongoing
projects. You will be the key person for the business and our own IT organization in regards to SAP Alliance.
Next to a thorough IT technical background and good knowledge in SAP, the candidate needs to possess good
organization & management skills, ITSM knowledge as well as the ability to interact with the business to
comprehend their requirements.
Manage the SAP team
Manage SAP domain leads to help them determine the most appropriate strategy and designs to meet business needs
Manage Service Levels towards business
Manage SAP Alliance governance model
Responsible for the SAP Alliance budget & internal cost allocation
Responsible for the overall SAP Alliance roadmap
Follow-up and report on activities to your direct management
Anticipate the needs in term of resources and organization
Follow and understand business processes and delegate the implementation inside the SAP team
Maintain and improve the ITSM setup & processes for SAP Alliance
Manage services rendered by third party vendors & internal IT departments
Coordinate new initiatives on SAP Alliance with the help of the different stakeholders
Actively participate on multiple projects simultaneously
Manage service transition & handover towards new SAP support partner
Good understanding in SAP System Architecture
Able to follow + advice on guidelines and best practices in relation to SAP & ITSM
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple requests and internal clients.
