Under its 21Shares brand, Amun is the world’s largest issuer of crypto exchange-traded
products (ETPs). The 21Shares suite of ETPs has simplified access to crypto for both
institutional and retail investors in the traditional finance community. In a similar fashion,
Amun aims to provide tokens that will make it easy for the crypto community to access
sophisticated strategies that are not otherwise readily available in this space. Amun 21Shares is a
team of entrepreneurs, engineers, and financial product developers who are uniquely
placed to revolutionize cryptocurrency investing through the issuance of our broad range
of tokens. Our goal is to make these tokens present a new paradigm in cryptocurrency
investing and to facilitate their use.

About the Role:

Amun 21Shares is looking to hire a Senior Sales Manager Switzerland to join its rapidly growing team in its Zurich office. This individual will be a key member of the Distribution team focussing and leading efforts on Switzerland to support our aim to become the default solutions for investors in the digital asset space and maintain our leading position.

Key Accountabilities and Scope:

Distribution:

General

  • Develop and execute the distribution strategy for Switzerland
  • Actively contribute to the Net New Asset growth and increase our market share
  • Position 21Shares Research and Educational content to support the growth of the brand and facilitate investor demand
  • Lead sales campaigns supporting new and existing product launches
  • Define client segmentation and tiering to ensure appropriate client coverage and where applicable sales automation
  • Share best practices with the team and continuously look for opportunities to improve and introduce scalable solutions
  • Give feedback and contribute to new product discussions

Intermediaries (Wealth and Retail Segments)

  • Development and maintenance of key contacts and potential clients in the Wealth and Retail segments (Retail platforms, Private Banks, IAMs, Family Offices, other Intermediaries)
  • Build and maintain relationships with online brokers and other distribution platforms to include our products in their offering
  • Coordination with research, marketing and design on preparation of appropriate sales materials for audience
  • Education of client teams on 21Shares product suite

Institutional Clients (Asset Owners, Institutional Asset Managers, Corporate Treasuries)

  • Build relationships with institutional clients including:
    • Developing understanding of interest in crypto assets
    • Understanding and overcoming client hurdles to investment (including regulatory challenges)
    • Education of client teams on 21Shares product suite
  • Coordination with research, marketing and design on preparation of appropriate sales materials for audience

The ideal candidate has:

  • The drive and motivation to build an extraordinary business
  • A sound understanding of the investment landscape, key players and regulatory framework for ETPs
  • Established network and existing contacts to decision makers
  • Successful track record in selling investment solutions in the region
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong desire to be part of a team, to learn and improve his/her skills
  • Genuine interest in the Crypto space and corresponding eco-system
