Senior Product Owner – Blockchain finance – Dublin

About the Company

My client is a complex leading edge blockchain company specializing in trade finance software is now seeking a Senior Product Owner.

About the Position

The Product Owner / Senior Product Owner is a pivotal role having oversight of the definition, prioritisation, and delivery of all feature requirements across their Marco Polo teams. A broad role interacting with all sections of the business, development, partners and customers in order to deliver a world class product

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with Product Management to understand product features and overall product strategy
Oversee backlog management and refinement process to ensure features are ready for the next planning cycle
Foster a sense of conversation ownership within teams to drive expedited solutions for across all areas of the Platform
Build and maintain a relationship with stakeholders regularly communicating on feature progress and team feedback
Work closely with UX designers to expedite readiness of tasks and facilitate early feedback
Support teams during the development iterations providing Product clarifications
Collaborate with teams to create/curate team backlogs, acting as primary for prioritising the backlog for current and future sprints
Acting as a gatekeeper you will work in a way that protects our people, systems and complies with our InfoSec and security policies and procedures

Experience/Requirements

5-7+ years of similar experience delivering successful software products or projects in an enterprise environment
Previous experience in a Product Owner / Scrum Master / Technical BA / Lead Engineer role
Evidence of previous requirements management in the software innovation space
Demonstrated leadership and strong organisational/communication skills with the ability to provide direction to scrum teams
Experience with Atlassian suite; JIRA, Confluence – an advantage.
Excellent negotiation & influencing abilities
A strong desire to exceed client expectation’s (internal & external) is a must
An entrepreneurial and adaptable approach is a pre-requisite
