Senior Outsourcing Manager (f/m/d)

Tangany, based in Munich, is a highly innovative fintech company which offers a market leading b2b solution for the custody of digital assets on the blockchain (e.g. crypto currencies, tokenized securities, NFTs). Our solution is already employed by more than 40 institutional customers. Tangany is regulated by the German federal financial supervisory authority, BaFin, and is ISO 27001 certified.

Our customers integrate blockchain easily and securely into their systems using our modern blockchain API. This white label solution saves high development costs and time and thus enables fast market access and easy usability for end users. Regulatory requirements can be covered for relevant assets via Tangany’s crypto custody license if required.

We are looking for a senior compliance employee who will be responsible for outsourcing management. Perspectively (depending on experience), a further development of the scope of duties in the area of AML compliance to support our AML Officer may also be possible. A legal background (e.g. fully qualified lawyer) is desirable.

Tasks

• Designing the concept, operation and continuous improvement of the central outsourcing management
• Risk assessment of outsourcing and other services with internal clients
• Creating and monitoring of an outsourcing overview and matching KPIs
• Creating control and monitoring actions and contributing to the compliance, maintenance and updating of the outsourcing strategy and guidelines
• Technical responsibility for service processes and ensuring proper documentation
• Competent contact for auditing and external auditors

Requirements

• Completed studies in the field of economics, law, or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the field of outsourcing management or in fields highly related to this topic
• Detailed knowledge of the regulatory requirements (MaRisk, BAIT, EBA guidelines)
• Experience in dealing with service agreements
• Ideally certification as Outsourcing Manager MaRisk
• Very good MS Office skills (esp. creation of presentations and KPI)
• Analytical thinking
• High degree of independence and self-motivation
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and English
