Within the Security Department, the Governance, Risk and Control team is in charge of the design of the information security standards for AXA IM and of the management and the control of risks related to information and systems.

Within this international and multicultural team, the job purpose is to manage AXA IM security policy and technical standards while controling their effective implementation.

Key Accountabilities

Our team role is to ensure security is embedded in everything we do. We progressively create an environment that fosters a culture of securing our information assets, takes informed decisions on managing cyber and resiliency risk, and protects our people.

The Senior Information Security Officer is a key pilar of AXA IM Security Strategy. You’ll have the full accountability of identifying and evaluating risks in the Security field. You’ll be a key interlocutor for businesses, analyzing market trend, and, anticipating regulatory upcoming changes. You’ll ensure a strong collaboration (not limited to) with IT, Internal Audit, Senior Management, Risk Management, HR and Legal.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

Manage Information Security policies on a wide technical scope in an international environnement in constant evolution:

  • Define and maintain AXA IM General Information Security Policy in line with industry best practices, AXA Group instructions and regulatory requirements;

  • Decline Information Security policy requirements into technical security standards in collaboration with IT experts;

  • Ensure security policy and standards requirement changes are implemented

  • Manages exceptions to the standard in evaluating the residual risk level

Perform Information Security controls from end-to-end and directly with the people managing the activities:

  • Define periodic information security assurance activities and plans, mapped to information security objectives and including key controls, processes and assets to be tested using a risk based approach;

  • Evaluate the performance, effectiveness and adequacy of implemented security measures, retain appropriate documentation and evidences;

  • Report the results monitoring and reviews activities to the management at regular intervals

  • Ensure the definition of remediation plans (including root cause analysis) to eliminate nonconformity and follow them.



  • Master’s degree-level education or equivalent

  • A recognized certification (CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO27001) is a plus.


  • Experience in Information Security

  • Experience in IT audit (internal or external) and project management would be a plus

  • Experience in financial services institution or in an asset manager would be a plus

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong understanding of public Cloud and Blockchain matters

  • Expertise on information security assurance activities

  • Wide security knowledge of technical matters (network security, system security, application security etc.) and managerial ones (contractual, regulation etc.)


  • Fluent in English language

  • A good level in French (oral) would be a plus

  • Client focus, rigor, autonomy, proactivity, curiosity and team work
