Senior Accountant

As our next Senior Accountant, you’ll be responsible for handling accounting tasks across various departments and projects in a dynamic environment with plenty of opportunities to grow and take ownership of new and exciting processes.

You will be part of our Accounting & Group Reporting team, reporting to our Head of Accounting & Group Reporting Ioana Chiriguti. The team currently comprises 6 amazing individuals working in Aarhus, who are focused on managing and driving our accounting and reporting practices within the broader Finance-function, led by CFO Rie Ruby.

Qualifications

• You hold a degree in finance, economics, or a similar discipline.

• Minimum 4 years experience in a similar position. Working experience within the Banking industry is a plus.

• You are curious and proactive and good at analyzing and conveying financial information in a simple manner.

• You have a structural way of working for handling an ever-changing environment.

• You have good analytical and IT skills with hands-on experience and skills in MS Office tools, especially Excel.

• You are fluent in English.

What will you do?

• Reconciliation of bank statements, account statements, etc.

• Posting and controlling intercompany agreements.

• VAT reporting and controlling.

• Payments and invoice handling.

• Ad hoc analysis for process optimization.

• Process descriptions and SOP’s.

• Part of exciting and various projects across the team.
