The Security Technical Project Manager will support the IT & Security Team with the delivery of projects and initiatives across the Security program. In this role, you will primarily work with the multiple subteams across IT and Security to own, drive, and improve the non-technical aspects of the project lifecycle. This role will be the driver behind building, maintaining, and tracking timelines, all coordinated around strategic objectives and key results. You should be familiar with agile and waterfall planning and comfortable with a combination approach. The ideal candidate will be methodical, analytical, and take a flexible approach to release and project management.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with an exceptional team of security team leaders and their team members to deliver mission critical projects.
  • Produce dashboards, roadmaps, plans, metrics and documentation to support project efforts, communicate status and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Define, maintain, and drive process and project documentation, adding new initiatives and escalating risks/blockers on current initiatives through to resolution.
  • Schedule and run project-focused meetings (kick-off, scoping, stand-ups, and retrospectives), identifying action items and addressing blockers to keep projects on track.
  • Improve process inputs, streamline workflows and project management tools.

Who you are:

  • Minimum of 3+ years experience working as a technical project manager or similar role. Background in FinTech or Proprietary Trading a plus.
  • A reliable and trustworthy team member, with a strong understanding of confidential awareness when appropriate and a passion for making teams more efficient and productive.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where you get to utilize your resourceful, and creative problem solving nature.
  • Working knowledge of project and work stream management tools such as Jira, Trello, Wrike, and Confluence.
  • Tenacious, self starter who thrives in understanding the details of complex, cross-functional projects and can effectively distill into actionable project plans.
  • Superb organizational skills and an analytical view on maximizing productivity, with a focus on value and not getting caught up on process.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and eager to ask questions and understand business and product objectives.
  • Resilient determination to push projects through to completion, regardless of how often priorities and deadlines may shift in a dynamic environment and rapidly growing industry.
  • Inherently curious about how things work and the ability to self-educate when necessary.
  • Have strong interest in, or basic knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.
