Your Role and Responsibilities
This important role, as a Security Software Sales, is responsible for leading the sales of Security Software to clients within a dedicated sales territory in the Finland. Software sales includes SaaS and Transactional Software to clients primarily via IBM Business Partners. Primarily the role is to identify and develop new business opportunities for increased sales to existing accounts or acquiring new accounts.
The role requires knowledge and understanding of client business and technical challenges and being able to build deep and strong relationships with clients to propose solutions and bring deals to contract closure. Selling Security Software background is of key importance to this role, i.e., understand how to sell any kind of software.
Your preferred background is from a Software or services company, background from a cybersecurity company is a strong merit.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
The role requires knowledge and understanding of client business and technical challenges and being able to build deep and strong relationships with clients to propose solutions and bring deals to contract closure.
Selling Security Software background is of key importance to this role, i.e., understand how to sell any kind of software.
- Fluency Finnish and English
- Security Knowledge – in Software Transactional and SaaS selling
- Excellent communication skills – both oral and written, English is major language
- Proven experience (5-10 years) and successful track record of selling
- Knowledge of the cyber security industry and the cybersecurity market in the Nordics
- Complex deal and engagement leadership.
- Proven leadership skills in sales
- Proven digital and virtual selling in B2B
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Knowledge of the Financial, government and Energy & Utilities industrial sector
- Software experience
- Regulation and Compliance experience
- Courses in cybersecurity is a merit
- Basic networking and infrastructure skills
- Basic security networking skills
- Specific cloud security skills are a merit
