Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for university students who are at the end of their studies (graduation preferably within 1 year) to fill our vacant SAP MDG Trainee position at IBM Consulting. In this position you will be working with our team of SAP experts in customer projects. We are engaged with world’s leading companies and help them in transforming their business with SAP solutions. We are driving change in large-scale SAP programs, where our customers are re-thinking their business processes utilizing latest SAP technologies. Our customers expect us to present solutions to complex problems and to act on those solutions. So not only do we give advice and guidance, but we also implement the solutions using the latest technologies. You would be helping our senior consultants in various tasks related to project delivery. You could also assist service line management in bid and proposal work. To thrive in this position, it is important to have excellent communication skills, problem-solving attitude, and interest in learning new technologies.
Understanding of how master data is gathered, managed and processed is required in this role as you would be working with SAP Master Data related tasks that are supporting client’s business operations. Industry knowledge in manufacturing and/or oil and gas production would be an asset. What we expect from you is active and enthusiastic attitude, analytical thinking, high level of ambition and the ability to work independently in a team. We also value good presentation skills as well as knowledge of software’s and services. SAP related studies and/or user experience are naturally an advantage. English and Finnish language skills are mandatory. More importantly the ideal candidate has a cheerful attitude, courage to take on new challenges and enthusiasm towards information systems and client facing business consulting.

The contract is part-time and fixed term. Weekly working hours are limited to 30 to enable you to finalize your studies. Contract duration is 6-12 months depending on your individual schedule. The employment start date will be flexibly agreed upon.

- Fluency in Finnish and English
