Founded in 2018 , we are a Cardiff-based, venture backed fintech/insurtech start-up operating on the global stage – and you will be in at the beginning, working with us to change the way people accumulate, hold and manage their cryptocurrency.

About the role

As Sales Manager – Partner Recruitment you’ll be a driving force at Coincover and our growth plans for Crypto Currency Safety. You’ll be responsible for lead generation and conversion of prospective partners – some of Coincover’s most important customers. You’ll work closely with our Customer Success and Marketing team to accelerate Coincover’s aspirations to introduce our products and services to new audiences and drive commercial success. In the vastly expanding world of cryptocurrency, businesses that partner with Coincover come in all shapes, sizes and market cap bringing with them their dreams and ambitions to conquer the crypto space. As the Sales Manager – Partner Recruitment you’ll be responsible for driving the revenue as we grow as a fast-scaling start-up.

An organised self-starter, with great communication skills and business to business sales experience (ideally in the SAAS sector), you’ll be part of a dedicated team within a global business with big growth plans. Working with Lead Generation team members, you’ll initiate, drive and own the sales process for our partners, from the earliest contact with prospective partners through to maximising their commercial potential, and closing the sale at contract stage.

You’ll anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Coincover’s key partners and understand how the Coincover range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you’ll set the vision and the strategy for how their products and services, along with the Coincover assurance, can reach tens of thousands of users.

Our mission is to make digital currency investments simple, safe and secure for everyone and we are building the next generation of cryptocurrency services for the fast-growing community of digital currency investors – many of whom are new to crypto. We aspire to be more than a typical cryptocurrency wallet: we’re setting out to solve all the problems that exist around owning cryptocurrency with a product that’s fair, transparent and easy to use.

We’re an ambitious team with huge aspirations so you’ll be expected to get stuck in -and be able to make a difference from day one. This is role of significant importance at Coincover as part of our commercial growth strategy and will be reporting into the newly created Head of Commercial role.

This role would suit someone with a wealth of sales experience from a start-up, SAAS or SME background, or someone from a much larger organisation that is now looking to work in a business where their contributions make a direct and tangible impact.

  • Driving business growth globally by developing partnership and strategic relationships
  • Collaborating and consulting with customers, increasing the customer base and optimising business growth by establishing a healthy pipeline of partnerships.
  • Researching, identifying and approaching new potential partners and finding the best route into their businesses
  • Tailoring communication to prospective clients to help them understand the potential and benefits of our products and services and in turn, how they can support their business and sales aspirations
  • Implementing the sales strategy to meet our commercial targets and business growth plans
  • Working alongside colleagues in Marketing and Customer Success to meet and exceed our sales targets
  • Analysing data trends and client performance, to develop solid sales plans, and preparing and conducting strategic pitches and presentations
  • Working with a broad range of prospective cryptocurrency partners and customers and an internal team
  • Working with the Head of Commercial and Head of Product to use your sales conversations to feedback customer challenges to inform new markets and products and present commercial strategies to develop commercial performance
  • Proactively improving sales processes and services to continually improve our offering
  • Ensuring the CRM is used effectively and efficiently to maximise revenue and provide seamless integration to Customer Success and the onboarding process
  • Refining our sales approach where needed to achieve mutually beneficial results for us and our customers
  • Working with Operations and the Customer Success team to ensure a seamless transition for the customer from the sales stages through to our onboarding process and beyond
  • Researching, identifying and approaching new potential partners and finding the best route into their businesses

What sort of person we need

  • An experienced Sale Manager (ideally in SAAS) with proven track record of driving B2B sales and commercial targets and KPIs You’ll be commercially focused and able to influence key stakeholders to deliver solutions and meet sales targets
  • An outstanding communicator with great negotiation skills
  • A confident person able to engage with people at all levels of an organisation

  • Someone with a strong commercial outlook
  • Self-starter, target driven and excited by achieving goals
  • Excellent presentation, communication and organisational skills with strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • You don’t need to be a cryptocurrency geek but knowledge in the area would be more than advantageous. We are looking someone willing to immerse themselves in this exciting and fast-growing sector
  • A background in either financial services/Insurance/Tech and Start-up Business would be advantageous
