Your mission

Fortris provides enterprises, corporates and institutions with the technology to run their treasury operations using digital assets. To accelerate our growth trajectory and new vertical development and sales, we need a professional who knows how to connect. We are currently looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to fulfill a critical part of our sales team.

As an SDR, you will be responsible for uncovering and developing qualified opportunities via creative outbound prospecting and from inbound leads for the Fortris Revenue Team.
Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be challenged, you will develop as a sales professional, and you will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn the topography and technology of the cryptocurrency and blockchain space, from the platform of a well-established, rapidly scaling and blockchain-native crypto company.

What you’ll do:

  • Create new business opportunities to drive Fortris’ growth
  • Work closely with the CRO, Head of Growth, and Sales Managers to ensure smooth handoff and a good experience for our future customers
  • Provide feedback and viewpoint from prospects, target customers and partners to help improve Fortris’ product and business
  • Advocate for the Fortris’ platform and our position within the global blockchain and digital asset community
  • Perform daily prospecting activities including:

    • Pre-call research and planning
    • Connecting with prospects on the phone, email, LinkedIn, conferences, etc (generating leads)
    • Developing leads and building relationships finding new potential sales outlets and by working with partners on warm prospects (developing leads)
    • Building long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
    • Proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market
    • Setting up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Revenue Team members
    • Establishing and maintaining Hubspot records daily
    • Following up with previous contacts (nurturing leads)
    • Managing and maintaining a pipeline of interested prospects and engaging sales team for next steps
    • Representing our company’s platform, solutions, markets, and applications
    • Identifying best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook
    • Social selling
    • Reporting to CRO with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

What you bring:

  • 1-3 years of proven excellence in business development, preferably in SaaS or technology-based company
  • Focused, self-motivated, outgoing, curious, and creative personality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong and professional presence to high-level executives
  • Ability to self-manage tasks and achieve target numbers for contacts and opportunities
  • A desire to pursue a career in technical/fintech/digital asset sales and business development
  • Passion about the Fortris story and our genesis in Bitcoin and digital assets
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with G-suite, Hubspot and Confluence a plus
