As a Post-Doc candidate, you will work on the EU-funded Horizon 2020 project ASSURED: Future Proofing of ICT Trust Chains: Sustainable Operational Assurance and Verification Remote Guards for Systems-of-Systems Security and Privacy.
One of the objectives of ASSURED is to provide a secure, trusted and audible data sharing environment (for threat intelligence data and beyond) via designing and implementing advanced Blockchain operation and control services. The project will leverage distributed ledgers infrastructure and specifying novel Trusted Component (TC)-enabled security and privacy-preserving protocols for advancing the state-of-the-art in scalability and computational efficiency when providing fully transparent and accountable secure information exchange (through the use of smart contracts) based on traceable and credible security auditing and attestation activities.
Your role within ASSURED will be to work on the cross field of blockchain (smart contract) and privacy-enhancing technologies. You do so by collaborating with researchers and industry partners across Europe. The position requires you to already have had sufficient knowledge and backgrounds in privacy-enhancing technologies and smart contract.
Throughout the project, you will mainly publish and present your results in top-tier conferences and journals, help in deliverables and guide industrial partners in some prototype implementation
A PhD degree (completed, or to be completed shortly) in computer science or a closely related field. The research direction should be close to smart contract, applied crypto, or information security.
Solid research backgrounds in, and proven experience with, cybersecurity (through publications, projects, etc.).
Great publications (renowned conferences and journals) related to information security, blockchain or applied cryptography.
Excellent and professional English level, including listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Team spirit and communication skills, as you will work in the context of a large-scale European research project.
