The Role

The role presents an opportunity to become an integral part of our HR and Recruitment team to be involved in the full life cycle of the recruiting process at peaq, meet hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates. We’re looking for a Recruitment and HR Assistant who is detail-oriented and has excellent interpersonal skills, with a passion for finding untapped talent, driving company growth, and helping people find promising careers at peaq.

Tasks

Responsibilities

  • Helping in the process of making great hires in an environment where hiring speed, quality, culture, and diversity are all important;
  • Working closely with the HR team to evaluate applicant qualifications by participating in the interviews, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements;
  • Assisting in building candidate pools by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, social media;
  • Attracting applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, and using newsgroups and job sites;
  • Assisting in operational tasks, such as writing contracts and letters of reference.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • You have already had first contact with the topic of recruitment or HR (e.g. as part of your current job, as part of an internship or working student position or as part of your studies);
  • Structured and careful way of working, service orientation as well as a distinctive communication strength with which you know how to care for and inspire people;
  • Organizational and time management skills;
  • Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with talent identification, attraction and assessment;
  • Previous work experience in a tech company.
  • Understanding and interest in software development and/or blockchain technology;
  • Knowledge of HR and recruitment practices and regulations;
  • Desire to grow professionally with networking and ongoing training opportunities.
