Founded by an experienced and multi-faceted team of experts with backgrounds in trading, IT and brokerage (Optiver, IMC, Bitstamp, Binck), our ambition is to become the global leader in software for cryptocurrency exchanges.

TLX is expanding rapidly and therefore, we are looking for an experienced QA Engineer who will execute our test strategy, develop new test cases and test the feature requests from the development team.

Responsibilities

You will be part of a small – but growing – engineering team. This means that your work has a great impact and additionally, the growth opportunities are endless!

  • Work closely together with the development team to execute the test strategy, develop new test cases and test the feature requests from the team
  • Introduce and improve tools and processes to find issues before clients do
  • Hands-on and automated testing of new features and changes to the platform, both from a functional as well as from a user perspective
  • Providing structure through clear test scripts/plans, processes and documentation
  • Gather and analyze feedback from clients and the team to assess trending quality issues and participate in the implementation of corrective action plans
  • Investigate and prioritize bug reports
  • Regression testing support
  • Support clients directly or by liaising with customer support
  • Share knowledge and usability expertise with the developers

To qualify for this role, you should be a creative self-starter with a great sense of responsibility.

Moreover, we are looking for someone who has:

  • A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field
  • 3+ years of professional work experience, ideally within a start-up/scale-up environment
  • 2+ years of experience with JavaScript and JavaScript testing frameworks and tools
  • Experience with Cypress and Cypress Dashboard
  • In-depth knowledge of manual and automated testing
  • The skills to build a test plan and evaluate test results
  • A deep understanding of core technical architecture, and broad IT knowledge
  • Great methodical and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of UX/UI
  • The competency to work in an independent and team-based environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • A positive can-do attitude and a creative mind

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working within an organization using Scrum/Agile
  • Experience writing, executing and automating functional test plans
