Role Summary

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead our outbound marketing activities. You’ll be responsible for presenting our products in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost adoption of our solutions.

As Product/Dev Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and refining value propositions and creating content for the products and services that are central to our business. In this role you’ll collaborate with the Boson Protocol’s product development and executive leadership teams to create product marketing content and strategies, and you’ll partner with the digital marketing team to build and execute campaigns that drive product adoption and retention.

For this role, you are a creative and quantitative thinker. You should be familiar with various product marketing techniques, like email campaigns and pricing strategies.

Your goal will be to develop and implement the most profitable plans to position and promote our products.

Key responsibilities

  • Study company products
  • Translate technical details into benefits for the user
  • Follow and analyze market trends to position products
  • Develop product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launching)
  • Craft compelling messages across marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns)
  • Work with various teams (design, content, acquisition, product, sales) to implement strategies
  • Test marketing product features, releases and ad copy
  • Evaluate projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers
  • Directly manage go-to-market planning for all Boson Protocol products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including communications, creative, product development, legal, finance, and professional services in order to ensure alignment and clear messaging for products and services
  • Conduct and maintain competitive analyses
  • Create and maintain content for Boson Protocol services such as how to guides, tutorials, etc.
  • Partner with the research team to conduct meaningful research that informs product strategy
  • Partner with product development and executive leadership to develop pricing and packaging strategies
  • Develop campaign strategies to drive product adoption and retention, and partner with the digital marketing team to execute and report results
  • Partner with product development to develop and refine in-product content and messaging
  • Develop influential relationships with open source project boards, members, executive directors, and other key stakeholders

Must have skills and attributes

  • Good understanding of blockchain technology and its applications
  • Solid experience in developing product propositions & presentations
  • Experience with creating campaigns focussed around product launches
  • A good understanding of B2B partner outreach
  • Experience in working closely with product teams in a product focussed tech organisation
  • Remarkable communication skills
  • Experience is a fast growing, dynamic start-up environment
  • Experience in direct sales or B2B outreach would be a plus, but is not mandatory
