As a Product Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end Open Banking product from the technical implementation perspective, by engaging with relevant stakeholders across the firm. We are looking for commercially minded, customer-oriented individuals who are used to working in a dynamic agile environment, and who want to be a part of building something from the ground up with us.

Job responsibilities

  • Define and deliver EMEA Open Banking Product strategy ensuring we achieve market leading and innovative capabilities in line with regulatory requirements with reduced risk and costs whilst driving increased financial profitability
  • P&L (Profit & Loss) management including accurate financial planning and delivery against revenue and expense target and accountability of payment execution
  • Subject Matter Expert in Payments with a primary focus on Open Banking
  • Participate in industry working groups and drive thought leadership into our strategy, clients and the market
  • Regular collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders in order to identify, develop and implement new solutions and product improvements that are regionally and globally consistent
  • Research and apply an understanding of innovation in financial services and emerging technologies (e.g., machine learning, blockchain, robotics process automation) to reimagine the future of Open Banking
  • Ensure a thorough understanding of customer needs, behaviours, and pain points, as well as competitive landscape and industry best practice. Design, present and own internal training and client facing materials
  • Manage regulatory issues, controls, risk, and resiliency on an ongoing basis, anticipating and mitigating issues


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Open Banking product management experience including, product conception, launching, building, and scaling products
  • Able to demonstrate experience and knowledge within Open Banking and Payments such as:
    • Regulatory awareness and experience of rule adoption as they relate to Open Banking and Payments in EMEA
    • Solid track record of success in developing and implementing product initiatives
    • Strong leadership, financial, analytical and strategic skill set
    • Effective change management and strategy management experience. Ability to connect with teams to influence current state mindset, help them adapt to a changing environment
    • Proven ability to achieve quality results in a high-pressure, rapidly changing environment requiring flexibility / adaptability to changeable directives
  • Open Banking industry group participation and contribution
  • Creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions
  • Execution-oriented self-starter who likes to take initiative with a demonstrated track record of managing risk and strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication, presentation, influencing and interpersonal skills


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Direct experience of working in an Open Banking product management role
  • An understanding of the Open Banking regulatory requirements in the EMEA region
