We are seeking an exceptional individual to serve as a presales consultant. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical leadership and subject matter expertise in SaaS architecture and how to integrate into a CRM, ERP, supply chain or retail systems environment. You will become a trusted customer adviser and advocate for EVRYTHNG. You will be part of the sales organisation, but will remain a technical expert who proactively participates in the sales process. The ultimate goal of the Presales Consultant is to position the correct solution based on customer requirements and get the technical win.


What You’ll Do

Provide the highest level of technical expertise of EVRYTHNG tools and technologies to customers, partners, sales people, and peers.

Develop and manage relationships with key technical contacts at identified strategic customers and partners.

Partner in the creation of proposals and bids that articulate how the EVRYTHNG solution addresses the customer problem.

Take a proactive leadership role in designing, creating, installing, and supporting proof of concept product demos and pilots in presales opportunity assessment.

Communicate and demonstrate the technical features and customer/partner benefits of EVRYTHNG products and solutions to solve customer problems and achieve the technical win in customer/partner opportunities.

Build trusted relationships with EVRYTHNG Product Management to provide solid market feedback, help prioritise the implementation of market requests and get their support in complex partner or customer projects.

Work closely with Customer Solutions to effectively transition successful engagements from pre sales to delivery.

Success In This Role

Success in this role is measured on the following elements:
Drive revenue while working with several sales colleagues and own the technical sales cycle.

Work with partners, consulting, product management, and marketing on new opportunities within our customers and prospects.

Initiate and/or assist in proposal creation.

Propose, prepare and deliver proof of concepts.

Deliver valuable market and customer feedback to our product management organisation.

Provide sales, enablement and training assistance in partner opportunities.

Participate in marketing events including trade shows, seminars and conferences as subject matter expert.

Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
Presales background or software engineer with a major vendor or has experience within a systems integrator/partner.

Expertise in one or more technologies: JavaScript (Node), REST APIs, SQL, and BI Tools (Looker, Tableau, Qlik etc)

Excellent networking, presentation, and communication skills.

Proven team player with ability to leverage resources and support as required.

Strong interpersonal skills – ability to get on professionally with many types of people in a highly distributed organization.

Self-starter who is able to work with minimum supervision.

Effectively communicates through oral and written communications to both technical and business audiences.

Commercial understanding of the business impact and implications of strategic software products and able to use this experience to maximize the opportunities within a sales situation.

Ability to interpret customers’ business problems and technical issues and effectively explain how a solution will align with the customer’s needs or requirements.

Open to travel as needed
