As a Postdoc you will integrate data and build automation pipelines from laboratories performing inorganic materials or organics synthesis, chemical analytics, application testing, as well as quality control in production.
You will work in an agile team providing scientific advice and digital solutions to our partners in R&D as well as selected close customers.
You will collaborate with our partners in Chemicals R&D and Business Units to understand and find solutions to their challenges.
Furthermore, you will co-develop and implement new data integration solutions in an international and interdisciplinary DevOps team.
In addition. you will lead certain knowledge areas, representing the team and ensuring continuous learning of the organization.
a degree in Computer Science or similar (with a PhD or comparable qualification)
industrial experience in Data Management (working with real-world data) as well as software development (working with git, CI/CD, containerization, cloud platforms, APIs)
advanced experience in developing data models, ETL pipelines, working with relational databases and/or NoSQL databases
good working knowledge of Python as applied to data science and web APIs (REST, GraphQL, etc.)
a team player with self-motivated and independent work attitude
