About the role

Are People operations basically ‘your thing’? Are you passionate about building and innovating on a variety of People Ops topics and making sure all the day-to-day operations are taken care of? We’d love you to join our team!

As BOTS’s international team is growing fast, we need a skilled People Partner who thrives in a fast paced, ambitious and international environment. You will work on a great employee journey in close collaboration with the business.

This person plays a big role in realizing BOTS’s vision and mission and meeting the business goals!

In short

In this role, you will be part of further developing and implementing our People & Culture roadmap, processes and innovations. Your goal is to maintain and develop a great employee experience in alignment with the business needs. The People & Culture team consists of a Talent Acquisition Specialist, People Ops Coordinator and Head of People & Culture and the scope for the People team consists of all global locations & external teams (Hungary, Netherlands, Estonia, Slovakia and more to come).

On a daily basis you will:

  • Make the difference for the most important factor in our business: our people and culture

  • Provide first line support to incoming questions from employees and team leads

  • Take the lead and be part of several People projects, e.g. system implementation, training & development

  • Work closely with team leads on employment contracts and performance

  • Manage performance and absence management

  • Build, streamline and continuously improve internal policies, procedures and practices for all locations

  • Have an active role in the onboarding & offboarding process (e.g. IND / VISA / relocation, onboarding presentation, exit interviews)

  • Coordinate Learning & Development initiatives

  • Help implement & maintain the HRIS

  • Lead Employee feedback activities – eg. improving our quarterly employee survey and follow ups

The right candidate has / is:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role in People Operations

  • A self-starter, proactive and curious

  • Someone clearly passionate for providing People operational excellence and who takes ownership

  • In-depth knowledge of Dutch labor/social laws

  • Experience in 30% tax rulings, relocations and visa applications

  • Excellent organizational skills and customer focus

  • Experience in working with People (HR) software solutions

  • Experience in a FinTech (start-up) company is a big plus

  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills, proficiency of Dutch or another language is a plus

  • Excited to work in a company where no day will ever be the same.

Extremely nice to have:

  • Interest in the world of investing and cryptocurrency

  • Experience in automation of workflows

  • Implemented an HRIS recently

  • Knowledge of Eastern Europe- labour laws (e.g. Hungary, Slovakia, Estonia)
