In this role you will architect the vision of how Oracle ERP Cloud Applications (SaaS) will solve customer challenges and deliver value through finance & procurement business transformation. You will define and articulate the value proposition/ROI, competitive landscape, and relevant use cases to drive sales.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an ERP Specialist, you are IBM’s business sales consultant to our customers. You will learn your customer’s business requirements and apply your technical knowledge and experience to shape the right solution for your customer.

You will be responsible for collaborating with IBM sales teams to define and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions.

You will deliver solution workshops, product demonstrations and proof of concepts on the Oracle ERP Cloud portfolio.

You will assist the IBM sales team with quantifying the value proposition of our solutions and answer technical questions throughout the sales process in order to progress and close sales and develop lasting customer relationships

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience Required

  • Demand generation & solutioning Oracle SaaS services engagements across Finance transformation
  • Personal experience of Oracle SaaS solutioning & delivery
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Finance
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Management Consultancy environment delivering professional services based upon IT applications and business transformation
  • Experience of sales and/or delivery in the Public Sector

  • A self-starter but being able to work collaboratively with other IBM units, other partners, and outside consultants as appropriate
  • The role will use the full capabilities of the IBM Corporation to create, articulate, and sell an innovative and compelling buying vision and value proposition so that executives clearly realise the financial benefits and transformational value to their business offered by a relationship with IBM
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across a diverse set of platforms, with ability to communicate information-intensive and complex interactions in plain language

Strong personal advocate for IBM Brand: internal and external speaker, active socially, networker, partnering, academic, industry associations
