R3’s Professional Services team works to bring Corda specialist expertise to our customers to make their adoption successful. We engage directly with our customers to design, build, deploy and advise them on their Corda journey to ensure long-term capabilities are sustained. Through a mix of business consulting, technical solutions and implementation, we help customers achieve their goals in the most effective way for their business. Our customer-centric and innovative approach to providing services and solutions in the industry allows us to strategically assess our customers needs and ensure they are set-up for success from the beginning of their journey. In addition to working directly with our customers, we strive to ensure that we are collaborating internally with our Sales, Engineering and Product organisations to provide better tooling, services and products based on our customers evolving needs.
The Professional Services Operations function sits within the larger Professional Services team and is critical to the smooth running of the team on a global scale. The Operations function is responsible for managing the planning and forecasting of the team, as well as providing the appropriate tooling, processes and forums to enable the team to thrive.

Reporting to the Professional Services Operations Manager, in this role you will serve two purposes; supporting the global Professional Services organisation from a tooling and process perspective, and additionally, directly supporting the Head of Professional Services and Support in day-to-day administrative and planning duties.

Responsibilities – Professional Services Operations Duties (60%)

    • Ensure processes are adopted by the Professional Services and Support teams.
    • Working with Professional Services Leads to proactively identify and resolve issues, and track impact of team’s work where appropriate.
    • Ownership and maintenance of shared team internal knowledge space.
    • Running and maintenance of team systems and tools, such as time-tracking and project management tooling.
    • Assist in the organisation of team meetings, conference calls and events.
    • Responsible for administering overall team reporting, analysis and insights, and KPI tracking with the appropriate tooling.
    • Oversee and support the timely completion of project onboarding and offboarding in the Professional Services portfolio.
    • Develop close relationships with other key internal functional areas such as Sales Operations, Support Engineering and Product Management.

Professional Services Administrative and Planning Duties (40%)

    • Supporting the Head of Professional Services and Support you will manage an extremely busy and constantly changing diary that includes internal and client facing meetings over various timezones to ensure days run as smoothly as possible.
    • You will be required to contribute to ad hoc / special projects when necessary and to proactively assist the team in carrying out their objectives.
    • Supporting meeting preparation; agenda and pre-reading distribution, presentation documents and minute taking.

Education and Experience:

    • You have prior experience or exposure to an operations/data function.
    • You’ve enjoyed or are excited by working in a fast-growth team and company.
    • You’re excited by working and supporting a globally-dispersed team
    • You have an interest and understanding of DLT/Blockchain technology
    • You are enthusiastic, self-motivated and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.


    • Bachelors Degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • Experience in Atlassian tools would be considered a plus.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products
