Within the Distribution-Competition & Brand Protection team and reporting to the Head of Intellectual Property (Regional) based in Neuilly, you are the key contact on Internet enforcement matters in EMEA region for the three Divisions (Fashion, Fragance & Beauty, Watches & High Jewellery) in close partnership with business teams. In this regard, you will liaise and coordinate with the rest of the international Internet Team (US/LUX/ASIA) and you will report functionally to the Head of Anti Counterfeiting (Internet Enforcement), based in Luxembourg.
What impact you can create at Chanel:
  • You will implement the online Brand Protection enforcement strategy for the EMEA region (monitoring, take downs, trainings and negotiations with internet players, coordinating different matters with our service providers), ensuring consistency and coordination with the Global Guidelines as well as relevance with regards to the business.
  • You will participate in cross-discipline online brand protection matters, including trademark infringement and preventing third parties from improperly using the Chanel trademarks.
  • You will support the fight against the grey market (in coordination with the Legal and Anti-Diversion teams)
  • Develop and coordinate the follow up of internal tools (PowerBi, Image recognition, AI, Blockchain etc.) in partnership with the Head of Legal Operations.
  • Advocacy : in coordination with the Head of Advocacy and the different stakeholders, raising awareness from authorities and contributing to public consultations regarding online enforcement and in particular, intermediaries’ liability.
  • Online monitoring and handling of brand-related content with Media Corporate Dept. and IT Dept.
  • Training of operational teams
