A leading global law firm is looking for an experienced marketing and business development professional with a commercial and strategic outlook, to work within a well-established global team dedicated to supporting the firm on a wide range of business development, marketing and client relationship management activities. The successful applicant will support marketing and BD activities for the Financial Institutions and Insurance Sector, working alongside the Sector Lead for FIIS, the Head of Marketing & Business Development and the core team to assist in the delivery of the business plan and to drive global strategy forward for the industry sector. You will also play an important role in leading marketing and business development for the Digital Assets and Blockchain practice, helping to develop and shape the thinking of a fast growing area. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a close team and to play a critical role in supporting client development and profile raising initiatives in the UK and international markets, to ensure that the firm maximises opportunities to grow their revenues from existing and prospective clients across the sector, raises the firm’s profile and position within key markets and leverages and coordinates people, knowledge and resources in an effective and efficient manner. With client account management responsibility for some of the firm’s key clients, the Marketing & Business Development Manager will enjoy a broad and varied role, developing and implementing structured and planned approaches across the full range of business development and marketing activities including targeting and new business generation, client development, pitching, events, thought leadership, profile raising and marketing campaigns on a global basis. A highly motivated and enthusiastic self-starter, the ideal candidate will have significant experience working in a marketing and business development focused role in a professional services firm to include previous experience of industry sector marketing and exposure to the financial services or insurance sectors. Pragmatic, robust, diplomatic and resourceful, the Marketing & Business Development Manager will possess excellent communication, interpersonal and client-facing skills and will be able to demonstrate an excellent eye for detail.
