The opportunity

As part of a high-performing team, you will deliver exceptional client service — consulting clients on technology strategies, providing advice on how technology enablement, digital transformation and enterprise intelligence will enable their business strategies. You will work with clients on their strategic technology solutions, and support clients transforming IT organizations, operating models and capabilities. A strong emphasis will be put on engagements centered on ServiceNow.solutions.

Your key responsibilities

As a Manager, a key part of your role will be to actively establish and grow internal and external relationships. You will identify potential for EY and our clients, within existing engagements and develop these with your team members as appropriate. Similarly, you’ll manage projects, anticipating and identifying risks within engagements and sharing any issues with senior members of the team. As a leader, you will contribute to our inspiring working environment and team, nurture our positive learning culture, coach and counsel junior team members to help them to develop.

  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for clients and senior managers on projects. You structure and engage teams to deliver high quality outputs
  • Defining scope and providing technical advisory services to assist clients implementing a ServiceNow program of work
  • Understanding client requirements and translating to these into workable system solutions, creating architecture design documentation and ServiceNow roadmaps.
  • Creating and maintaining Platform Implementation Roadmaps and provide hands on assistance with the detailed design and implementation approach of selected engagements
  • Demonstrating product and technical leadership on ServiceNow engagements
  • Working with a team of technical and functional analysts and delivery managers to deliver incredible ServiceNow solutions for clients.
  • Stay current on product developments/ releases to a level required for demonstrations and thought leadership.
  • Define and deliver transformational digital programs or solutions for our clients
  • Lead cross-functional teams or engagements with technologists, architects, developers, designers, business consultants, user researchers to build user-centric solutions, or change manage management specialists
  • Build strong internal relationships within EY Consulting and with other services across the organization in Switzerland and internationally
  • Follow our educational program to continually develop personal skills and capabilities, and support team members in their development
  • Contribute to people-related initiatives including mentoring and coaching others, as well as sharing best practices and knowledge.


Skills and attributes for success


To qualify for the role you must have

  • A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the technology consulting/engineering domain.
  • An ability to define at an architectural and design level of detail, technical solutions aligned with client business problems
  • Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow solutions and existing track record of successful engagements delivered on this scope
  • Architect level understanding of ServiceNow implementations (modules include ITSM, ITBM, GRC, HRSD, CSM etc…) and programming skill required
  • More than 3 years’ experience working with the ServiceNow platform including designing and implementing solutions, and fundamental understanding of the relevant key technologies
  • Provide expertise on all technical questions related to development on of ServiceNow
  • Master’s degree from a reputable University with excellent academic records
  • A passion for Information Technologies, Digital Innovation, and understanding of common industry standards and business practices in the domain
  • Strong teaming and communications drive to lead and motivate others.
  • An open-minded motivated personality willing to work in teams and possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Can-do mindset, with a focus on high performance standards and ability to work in a focused and independent manner
  • Excellent skills in both written and verbal English and German/French (both would be an advantage).


Ideally, you’ll also have

  • ServiceNow Certifications (CSA and CIS)
  • Expertise in Technology Strategy and Transformation disciplines including IT Strategy, Digital, Infrastructure and Cloud Strategy, Service Resiliency, Enterprise Architecture, Solution architecture, Technology Sourcing or IT service management
  • Expertise and/or experience with Enterprise Application strategy and implementation, including technologies like Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft, Hyperion, Veeva, IQVIA, Salesforce, Pega
  • Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, SOAP/REST Web Services, LDAP, JDBC/ODBC; well versed in CSDM 3.0 framework and an understanding of popular coding languages.
  • A keen eye for detail with strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think outside the box
  • The ability to build strong and credible relationships with business and technical stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • The ability to self-manage and develop skills independently while contributing to the capability set of the broader team
  • Exposure to emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, deep learning, advanced predictive modelling, blockchain, quantum computing etc.
  • Working knowledge of the full lifecycle of software development and of programming or scripting languages: for instance, PERL, JavaScript, Python.
  • Experience of working with or as part of a scrum team
  • Detailed knowledge of creating user stories/requirements definition/acceptance criteria using agile tools and techniques
  • Prototyping / wireframing knowledge and experience
