Sheffield Business School is the UK’s most recent Business School to be awarded AACSB accreditation putting the UK’s largest Business School amongst the top 5% of providers globally.
We are now looking to expand our team across a range of areas including; Derivatives, Climate Finance, Financial Technology, Python Programming, Blockchain and Digital Currencies, in line with portfolio growth.
Working with us in the Department of Finance, Accounting and Business Systems you can help transform the lives of our undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as contribute to Sheffield Business School’s Higher Degree Apprenticeship provision.
Experience of teaching is not essential, but you would have the ability to inspire, enthuse and connect with our students. Delivering industry relevant teaching, integrating theory and research into practice, and contributing to the employability of our diverse student body is crucial. We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you have a rich professional background and can connect our students with employers, providing an applied portfolio of knowledge. Equally, we would love to hear from you if you have a strong teaching background, underpinned with research activity that can contribute to our growing research informed culture.
The ability to teach and support students by taking a learner-centred approach in line with the University’s learning, teaching and assessment strategy and to contribute to curriculum development and delivery, research and other forms of scholarly activity as part of a multi-disciplinary team is essential in these roles. You’ll need the ability to negotiate, influence and motivate. We’re also looking for someone who responds positively and creatively in changing circumstances, who is highly motivated and who will commit to our Transforming Lives Strategy.
