Role Summary
As our IT Support Analyst you will assist our employees with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of laptop computers, mobile phones, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines. This will include supporting the growing UK region in addition to employees located remotely around the Globe. Our IT Support Analyst will also be able to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software..
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Good English both verbal and written skills
- Is detail oriented and enjoys maintaining and improving on technology processes
- Is able to follow through tasks to completion and has good time management skills and is comfortable taking initiative and solving problems – you are a go-getter
- Will readily jump in to help with large projects, but is equally happy with daily tasks and believes that no project is too small to do well
- Is interested in assisting GFT’s company culture efforts: you are caring, collaborative, creative, courageous and committed
Role Responsibilities
- Assisting employees with their computer laptop systems
- Providing computer support services both for software and hardware
- Testing of computers and ensuring that computer systems are functioning properly
- Physical setting up of computers and software system installation for various computer applications and programs
- Identifying and solving any problems that affect computer operating systems
- Individual assessments of computer systems to identify the problem(s)
- Help in examination of network servers equipment and maintenance
- Maintenance and upgrading of computer systems or offering recommendations on upgrades needed
- On-going training of our employees and through our induction programme
- Maintaining other computer peripheral devices such as printers and solving printing problems if they arise

Behavioural Skills:
Our IT Support Analyst will have excellent inter-personal and communication skills and is experienced and enjoys dealing with clients/users at all levels. You will be able to prioritise and multi-task. To succeed in this role you will be self-motivated with good organisational and time management skills to effectively cover all areas of responsibility.

The majority of our roles are determined by client requirements, but the expectation is that you will be required on client site 1 or 2 days a week (this may vary depending on client requirements and could go up or down).
