About the team

The Crypto & Emerging Business commercial team operates within the Ecommerce division of Worldpay from FIS. It is responsible for serving the payment requirements of the world’s largest crypto, NFT and web 3.0 merchants. This is the most dynamic, challenging and rewarding customer segment of Worldpay’s fastest growing business division.

We are the world’s leading payment provider offering a full-service end to end solution that encompasses global card acquiring, gateway, treasury, and alternative payment products. You will be working within an award-winning team that places emphasis on professional and personal development while simultaneously meeting our demanding business objectives.


What you will be doing

  • You will have sector expertise in crypto, NFT and web 3.0 markets and through this you will bring your own network of contacts

  • You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities for our book of prospective customers in the exciting world of crypto, NFT and web 3.0.

  • You’ll work with international corporate organizations, headquartered in the EMEA & APAC region.

  • Our strategic aim is to drive differentiated value for our customers by increasing their profitability and hence Worldpay’s share of wallet. To achieve this, we aim to reach more customers in more markets, in local language and with local payment options.


How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?

  • You will connect with executives and senior management at companies operating in online gambling, and crypto exchanges.

  • Following up on marketing generated activities tied to outbound, targeted campaigns including webinars, white papers and trade shows.

  • Your aim is to generate new business opportunities for the Business development team, by prospecting companies via direct calling and email and setting up meetings.

  • You will engage with senior individuals, so you will spend a fair amount of your time on researching the company and the people you’re targeting.


What will make you the ideal candidate?

  • You are a quick learner who is driven to succeed in a fast-moving environment.

  • You’re confident and commercially savvy and can quickly engage with a variety of people – strong communication skills in-person, writing and by phone are mandatory.

  • You enjoy asking questions and going into the detail to understand potential customers.

  • To be successful in this role, you’ll need to organize and manage your work effectively – the ability to multi-task is essential.

  • In addition, an understanding or interest in real money gaming or how crypto type exchanges operate would be a major advantage.

  • You’re fluent in English and in any other European language.

  • You are interested or have good knowledge of the blockchain eco-system is an added value.
