THE POSITION AVAILABLE

Title: Full-time | in-house translator/project manager

The possible start date: 14 January 2022.

We are looking for a smart team player who is tech savvy, motivated, and an experienced translator/project manager to join our team in our Mayfair office.

THE DAY TO DAY

Responsibilities:

· Translating a wide variety of documents from French into English

· Reviewing translations produced by other team members

· Checking emails, creating emails, making quotes, closing offers

· Answering phone calls, making phone calls, making offers

· Translation & Research

· Keeping track of payments, following up accounts using database software

· Meeting and welcoming clients at the office

· Packing and mailing documents and marketing material

· Going to the post office

· Coordinating all aspects of the inhouse sales process

· Legalizing official documents at government offices

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, AND TRAITS FOR THE POSITION:

An obsession with winning, a people person, you want and are delighted to make people happy and are extremely professional with a positive attitude to help get things done.

What we’re looking for:

– Motivated, dynamic and a fast learner

– Responsible, reliable and organised

THE MINIMUM:

o Living in London to work in our Mayfair office.

o Bilingual in French & English.

o (Preferably, a native British or English speaker)

o Master’s or equivalent in translation

o 2-5 years of work experience (not including internships)

o Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Trados, ERP system

o Experience with legal translation and/or Marketing

A big PLUS

Other languages on top of French/English (German, Chinese, etc.)

Our office uses the best and latest software technologies.

o You are and must be tech savvy and social media present, fantastically organised, disciplined, patient, and motivated when dealing with client issues, plus being able to problem solve.

o You possess expert level communication skills, research, and have a super charged energy mentality. An ability to ask questions, learn, help, and prospect.

o Work in terms of process and results.

o You create solutions.
