  • Assist the growth strategy of The Sandbox globally (France, USA, Canada, Europe, Korea and broader Asia) by identifying the right profiles to fill out the key positions needed to assist on the development of The Sandbox platform, as well as the marketing, business development and other functions of the company
  • Identifying the staffing requirement for a replacement or new positions in the company
  • Working closely hand in hand with each of the team leads for each key production departments (programming, game designer, level design, art, multiplayer, blockchain, project management, UI/UX, etc) to open a job requisition for their hiring requirement.
  • Create the public company Careers page to establish clear visibility on the hiring opportunities at The Sandbox, sharing our vision, company culture
  • Planning the hire. Writing an accurate and effective job description to attract the best candidates.
  • Defining roles and responsibilities for the hiring team as well as setting expectations for the interview process in terms of compensation, responsibilities, and integration within the team
  • Posting the job on multiple job websites, LinkedIn, social media etc and screening incoming resumes.
  • Setting up interviews, pitching the company during the first interviews and conducting post-interview assessments at specific intervals of time, such as one week and one month post recruitment.
  • Define the strategy on sourcing of candidates, whether working with external headhunters and agencies or hiring internally. You will be in charge of establishing a quality review process and vetting on what candidates they send etc.
  • Owning the final hiring decision, pending executive approval, and effectively managing the hiring team throughout the recruiting process.
  • Determining details of the position and extending the job offer, adapting to the specific administrative requirements in each territory
  • Establish the process to facilitate the onboarding of newly recruited employees and contractors to The Sandbox team; putting in place programs to enable new employee’s relationship management and talent thriving within the company
  • Build the company culture in terms of diversity and other activities that differentiate The Sandbox from other companies and build a positive working environment and culture that employees can be proud of
  • Serve as the public voice of the game studio to help attract talents, pitching the vision of the company and presenting The Sandbox NFT metaverse at potential virtual and physical conferences and events

Requirements:

  • Understand HR-related regulations and compliance procedures across North America, EMEA and APAC
  • +6 years of recruiting experience
  • Experience designing and implementing global recruiting strategies
  • Experience collaborating with key business leaders and senior cross-functional partners
  • Experience translating data and analysis into strategic recruitment processes and recommendations
  • Technical recruiting experience
  • Experience managing technical recruiting teams
  • Experience building and scaling technical recruitment teams
