We are in the process of scaling up our SEO operation to handle our growth – both in terms of performance, and our expansion into new sites and new verticals.

The role encompasses everything one might expect from a Head of / Director level position – accountable for the overall performance, strategy and management for a group of high traffic sites. This role will reports directly to the Co-Founders of the business, with the overarching goal being specific sites (mainly Trading sites) to their next stages of development; as we improve rankings, authority, and build brands on top of what are already high performing affiliate sites. It is also vital that we create a scalable model here, as we need to create a team capable to handling new sites coming into the portfolio.

As our Head of SEO with Finixio you’ll:

  • Work directly with our Co-Founders, and wider SEO team to help define SEO strategy, support & guide editorial & product staff
  • Train, manage, develop, and potentially recruit SEO Managers and SEO Executives for your team
  • Train & manage editors on SEO best practises
  • Responsible for growing traffic on websites generating six figures in organic monthly revenues
  • Working with the product team to ensure new website features & product releases are SEO friendly
  • Produce competitor and keyword analysis
  • Technical website audits and troubleshooting problem pages
  • Derive actionable insight from SEO reports (analysing key commercial pages, goal conversions in analytics, etc)
  • Help to refine & optimise link-building strategies
  • And best of all, working towards the collective goal of taking our business & your career to the next level.


Requirements:

  • Experience working in highly competitive verticals and blending an array of SEO strategies including aggressive linking building campaigns.
  • To be capable of thinking commercially but have a ‘roll your sleeves up’ mentality.
  • Experience in identifying and managing resources when needed (ie content), and can demonstrate tangible ranking and commercial growth of websites/projects.
  • Fluent in English and any additional language will be considered an asset (preferably German or French language)


KPIs and processes to follow:

  • Monitor and React to Changes in Traffic Drop or Clickouts
  • Produce competitor and keyword analysis, suggest New Keyword Opportunities and Pages
  • Analyse SEO and PPC competitors in SemRush and Ahrefs
  • Managing link building resources and executing link targets as requested
  • Optimize SEO Titles
  • Interlinking from Highest Linked Pages
  • Plug URL in Ahrefs and optimize for any missing Long Tail keywords
  • Suggest New Product Features, Calculators to Make the Page More interactive


Technical SEO:

  • Technical website audits and troubleshooting problem pages
  • Make sure there are no major search console issues
  • Be able to get website speed optimised to 70+/100
  • GSC internal links report weighted towards commercial pages
  • Keeping plugins updated
