Head Key Management serves as a dual role. Firstly, the role acts as an owner, manager, and thought leader of the technical and operational Key Management team which ensures a secure environment for managing and storing cryptographic keys. Secondly, the role also drives shaping security aspects (conceptually and hands-on) in the Web3 family of SDX products and will shape the future direction of Key Management as a discipline at SDX.

You will be an integral part of the wider SDX Security team – a vibrant and modern team that acts in a strategic, transparent, empathic, and pragmatic manner. You will have the opportunity to take a leading role in defining security across a wide range of technical areas. In your day-to-day business, you will ensure the operation of various security capabilities that will both empower and enable the wider SDX IT and developer communities. Furthermore, you will serve as the main contact point and lead for security topics in the Web3 space (e.g., cryptocurrencies).

What You Will Do

  • directly responsible for managing employees (both functional and HR responsibilities)
  • ownership and general authority over the complete Key Management area
  • drive definition and implementation of security topics in the growing space of Web3 products and technologies
  • define and operate customer-facing IT services (e.g., PKI, HSM), maintain processes and ensure compliance with company policies, security and IT frameworks, as well as industry best practices
  • support internal and external customers, and ensure overall service quality, stability, and maturity
  • represent Key Management in specialist committees, working groups, both internal and external organizations

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in line managerial roles and extensive work experience in the field of Information or IT Security
  • open-minded and curious, with a sense of ownership, who brings a can-do and cost-benefit attitude while cultivating and showing appreciation and humility
  • practical work experience in IT risk or information security management, and knowledge of relevant aspects of cryptography, enterprise PKI infrastructure designs and operations as well as practical work experience in security area of Web3 technologies
  • intrinsically motivated, with a strong quality- and customer-focus mentality
  • knowledge of relevant security standards (e.g., ISO 2700x, ISF SOGP, BSI, etc.) and industry best practices is an advantage
  • fluency in English (both verbal & written)
