Graphic Designer

We’re looking for someone to engage with that creative, inspired, tech-savvy, financially literate, fiercely independent, always curious community. Someone who understands crypto and the blockchain space deeply, and who appreciates that an audience as diverse as ours cannot be met with a one-size-fits-all approach.

Our social media graphic designer will be tasked with creating flashy, eye-catching, compelling, bit-sized graphics for social media and our new premier investor product, Markets Pro. These graphics and designs will be promoted through media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, as well as displayed as Facebook and Instagram Ads. You will be closely working with our social media managers across the globe and play an integral role in shaping Cointelegraph’s visual brand experience on social media.

Candidates will be designers who can support the company’s marketing and educational efforts. You’ll be joining a dedicated team focused on spreading awareness and understanding of blockchain, crypto, DeFi, and decentralized financial markets. By crafting clear and compelling designs across a range of digital formats, you’ll drive our ability to increase brand awareness and drive up our social media KPIs.

This is a key role that requires exemplary written communication skills, fanatical devotion to detail, and the ability to rapidly digest unfamiliar information or topics.

Although we are entirely decentralized, this role will involve working in the GMT time zone.


Four or more years of experience using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, etc.

Two years or more experience in blockchain/crypto; both personal and professional experience apply

Three years or more experience creating content for online social media campaigns

Deep understanding of Instagram, Instagram Stories, Twitter, Telegram, and Facebook, and what performs well on each platform.

Strong illustration, image adjustment, color selection, and typesetting abilities.

Two or more years experience creating high volume, eye-catching, quick turnaround graphics for social media platforms.

Maintains the ability to turn written concepts and copy into compelling finalized graphics

Be able to work for a high-pressure, results-driven news agency.

Ability to maintain multiple projects under tight timelines.

Enjoys strong intellectual challenges and can easily simplify complex things.

Possesses a solid set of verbal and written communication skills and can effortlessly collaborate with other creative and technical people.


The Graphic Designer will:
Collaborate daily with copy, design, and strategy on all creative executions.

This position requires a highly motivated individual who can editorialize content and inspire through visuals.

Candidates should possess an elevated graphic design style and a compelling portfolio.

Ability to translate business and marketing objectives into designs that are inspiring and engaging.

Work with internal teams to keep them fully informed of creative development and execution.

Ability to be flexible, nimble, and dynamic in a large organization.

Create presentations that address diverse users and audiences.

Shape design decisions in response to creative leadership feedback.

Research creative trends in competitive markets and apply that knowledge and learning to each project

Design digital ad units for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc., adhering to best-in-practice standards for the industry.
