What do we need from you?

We’re looking for a Global Expansion Manager who can help build and execute STX Next’s global strategy. Working directly with the VP of Sales and a network of International Sales Directors you will help to direct business development efforts and support strategic growth goals as well as operating plans for key markets. STX Next is a Private, Equity-backed “Product Development as a Service” (PDaaS) company. The company’s founder managed to hit on a programming language—Python—well ahead of its time and today the company is capitalizing on this decision. Five years ago, we had 15 clients from Western Europe and the United States. Today, we have more than 60 active clients from across the globe. STX Next has scored high on prestigious rankings such as the Financial Times 1,000 and the Deloitte Fast 50 Central Europe and we’re eager to achieve even more recognition with your help.


One to three months

  • Learn how to present STX Next services and unique value proposition
  • Complete a comprehensive onboarding, consisting of trainings, online courses, and prescribed readings
  • Adopt the tools necessary to be successful: CRM, business analytics, collaboration, and project management, etc
  • Build relationships throughout the organization, including Sales, Marketing/Growth, and Pre-Sales teams
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Recruiter and VP of Sales to source, recruit and onboard key personnel internationally
  • Learn about local employment laws and candidate expectations
  • Work with the legal team to contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance the company’s business development and recruiting practices abroad
  • Become the main point of contact for issues from International Sales Directors

Three to twelve months

  • Conduct in-depth market research to qualify international expansion plans; leverage industry contacts for strategic intelligence; assess the viability of potential future markets and business partnerships. While each geographic location will be unique it will be important to also help ensure that STX Next’s culture and way of working are integrated
  • Work with the VP of Sales and International Sales Directors to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
  • Work with the Director of Growth to help plan local marketing efforts
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
  • Collaborate with Local MDs & Client Success department to ensure STX Next’s core business protocols and ways of working are consistently implemented across all new markets
  • Work with International Sales Directors to help develop leads and opportunities, negotiations, proposal planning and pricing strategies
  • Work with our CFO to help register and set-up local business structures and reporting requirements
  • Regular travel abroad to work with local sales teams and to attend key conferences
  • Identify, negotiate and sign strategic international partnerships and memberships to key local associations
  • Identify and participate in key RFPs in given market

Twelve to eighteen months

  • Work with International Sales Directors to prioritize new hires in their local markets
  • Work with the VP of Sales to build KPIs, budgets and run 1-on-1s with International Directors
  • Work to develop the skills needed to assume a key management role


Your success will be measured based on international revenue targets, a mix of new sales, and the increasing lifetime value of existing accounts. This is a unique opportunity to work together with nearly all of the STX Next departments, in Poland and abroad.


  • An entrepreneurial spirit. The right candidate will eventually take ownership of the coordination and management of our network of offices abroad
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English (CEFR C1+). Additional languages are considered a plus
  • Previous experience in an IT sales environment will be advantageous
  • A goal-oriented, passionate, high-energy, professional approach
  • Prospecting and networking skills
  • Analytical skills
  • A strong network that can be leveraged globally
  • Willingness to travel when required
