With a remote first policy, this blockchain start-up have created a decentralized zero-knowledge rollup that greatly scales and reduces the cost of payments and transfers on the Ethereum network, with a focus on supporting community-based projects through it’s original Proof-of-Donation mechanism.
The aim is to create an inclusive and accessible blockchain payment network.
They have two hubs in Spain and Switzerland though their engineering team are based all over Europe, with one even on the East coast of Brazil – there is no expectation for you to come into the office as they really are remote first. By putting a big focus on their key values; collaboration, transparency and accountability, this works really well for them.
They’re looking to expand by bringing on ta Frontend Engineer to develop their product interfaces. You’ll work closely with the engineering team to research, spec and implement web apps that showcase the potential of their product.
What will you be doing?
Day to day, you’ll be designing and implementing rontend architectures that connect with their blockchain-based protocols. You’ll be taking real ownership of their frontend stack whilst working closely with their product team to transform ideas and designs into solutions. They’re keen for everyone to have input and as such, you’d be working closely across the engineering, design and product teams in a collaborative and transparent way, adding ideas to their roadmap and company goals.
What experience are they looking for?
They’re looking for someone who’s got solid experience working with React/Redux and ES6+. There’ll be some more basic work with HTML and CSS (plus preprocessors) as well. Ideally you’ll also have some knowledge of blockchain and Ethereum, or at least an interest in the subject. Bonus points for:
- Any experience contributing to or managing open-source projects.
- Knowledge about privacy and decentralization.
In return for the above they’re offering a salary of up to 60,000 Euros, as well as an interesting package of vested tokens.
