Nature Preserve’s blockchain-based traceability and climate impact analysis algorithms can help agri-food business be transparent and sustainable. By tracking food through the supply chain, we can calculate the climate impact of food products at each step of the journey.
Our software can help companies capture, measure, and contextualize data, so that companies can make data driven decisions for product and supply chain improvements.
Users of Nature Preserve’s software access their information through the software’s dashboard. Here they can not only record transactions but can also access contextualized information about their products.
During your internship, you will help develop this dashboard. There are two main tasks, and the internship tasks will depend on your profile:
Contextualizing climate impact data
Users of Nature Preserve’s software use the dashboard to track the climate impact of their products through various parameters. The inserted data needs to be contextualized into graphs and charts. The graphs and charts need to automatically populate with the data inserted into the system.

Create interactive visuals that contextualize the data for users to make data-driven decisions

Mapping supply chains
Food supply chains are vastly diverse and complex. Products can vary in origin of ingredients, transportation types, product methodologies/processes and their journey from final product to consumers can also change along the way. To calculate the climate impact of products, we need to be able to map each product’s supply chain from start to finish on our dashboard.
