Your Role and Responsibilities

Entry Level Software Deployment Leader (SDL) is tasked with enhancing the client’s understanding of their IBM customer contracts and the capabilities and value it can provide to their business. The SDL will identify, expand and accelerate the deployment of IBM solutions through the relationships they build within their client(s). They are equally a key member of the IBM Client account team, contributing to the planning and activities to transform the client/IBM relationship and assist the client in achieving their objectives. Additionally, the SDL is responsible for the governance and administration of the IBM customer contracts and as such is a focal point on deployment related topics for customer and IBM.

Job Responsibility

  • Helping to maximise the value our clients achieve from execution of contract agreements. Enhance the client’s understanding of the agreement and the capabilities and value it can provide, as well as work with the client to achieve and measure these outcomes.

  • Work with the client and other IBMers to understand the strategic business and operational requirements that influence the client’s business capability decisions.

  • Building trusted relationships with client stakeholders and users.

  • Agree governance metrics and processes with the client and implement a regular framework for their execution and review.

  • Assist the customer to establish relevant process and approved documentation related to their IBM contracts.

  • Integrate with the IBM client team applying your technical expertise and client insights for business development.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Demonstrated ability to build and leverage extensive relationships throughout client and vendor organisations.
  • An active interest in current and emerging technologies
  • Ability and willingness to maintain high level understanding of IBM software strategies
  • Proven ability and skills in client and project management
  • First experience in Software Asset Management
  • Languages German: fluent, English: fluent
