We are dedicated to empowering consumers across the globe. We are leading the way to put consumers back at the heart of the action, allowing for equitable decision making and allocation of funds, enabled by blockchain tech. Having started with our own worldwide 400,000 people rapidly growing community-led menswear brand TBô in 2018, we are now high-pace building our web2 web3 infrastructure venture Decommerce.

In 2021, we conducted a successful Security Token Offering, grew revenue by 2.5x, onboarded over 100 investors and are now looking for an entrepreneurial self-starter to work with the founding team.

In this role, you will work very closely with the founders, the Advisory Board and investors.

Tasks

As the Entrepreneur In Residence you would be:

  • Working with the founders on all areas of the business, from strategy, to managing the daily operations, to financing, communication and admin
  • Developing and managing the different venture building streams across the entire organization alongside the co-founders
  • Exploring markets, identifying collaboration/partnership opportunities in the web3 commerce industry, and executing on them
  • Supporting the evaluation and implementation of business opportunities and other strategic decisions
  • Bringing the own direct-to-consumer brand TBô from the US to Switzerland, incl. a popup shop at The Circle and opening new sales channels
  • Analyzing market opportunities by conducting market insight, commercial, technical, legal, and competitive analyses
  • Developing and implementing effective communication strategies across all channels
  • Organizing, preparing and attending investor communication and meetings
  • Building effective relationships with all ecosystem participants, e.g. VCs, consumers/creators, brands, other blockchain players such as Axie Infinity/Sky Mavis and Ethereum Foundation, and listing partners such as Kraken, Coinbase, and Binance

Requirements

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Keen interest in venture development or venture capital
  • Keen interest and hands-on experience the in web3 and tokenization space
  • You are eager to learn about all aspects of company building, consumer empowerment, financing and investor management
  • You have an entrepreneurial extra-mile mindset and are very hands-on
  • You have a strong interest in the web3 and e-commerce industry
  • You have a demonstrated track record of success in prior roles
  • You have gained professional experience in a high-performing entrepreneurial environment
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • Strong ability with numbers and data analytics

Think Shopify with Axie Infinity capabilities. Decommerce provides web2 web3 commerce infrastructure for brands to engage, co-create with and compensate their consumers for contributions directly via their existing web shop stack. Contributions can be community engagement, product co-creation and customer acquisition work, as a few examples.
