Our mission is to build a circular crypto economy, a world where using your bitcoins to send money around is as common as using Zoom for video calls.

We have come a long way already and built a solid reputation as innovators in the user experience of bitcoin and crypto payments, day-to-day usage of cryptocurrency, and tech such as Lightning Network. We are a profitable founder-controlled company working laser focused on our vision of making the crypto dream a reality today, making it possible for people to cut the cord to their old bank and live on crypto. As our growth story continues, we are now looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team full time.


Your Mission:

As our Engineering Manager, you will be the driving force behind Bitrefill’s product development success focused on user-centric design, intellect, data, research, and well-honed judgment to ensure the biggest difference to our users and the biggest impact on Bitrefill’s continued growth. As Engineering Manager, you will partner with engineers and designers, leading product prioritization, the roadmap, and delivery of user-facing functionality, working closely with Product Managers and our management team.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Managing and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring the quality of its content
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure needs are aligned with deliveries
  • Responsible for launching a new product to market from concept – release
  • Breaking down the product vision and roadmap into actionable next steps
  • Responsible for the life cycle management activities of the Product, post-launch
  • Always making sure the team builds the right things, by understanding priorities and solving dependencies with other teams
  • Constantly monitoring the progress and looking for ways to improve the service
  • Motivate & inspire the teams, and ensure the teams celebrate success


You Are:

  • Hungry to learn, fast to execute, do a lot with little, and care strongly about your product and users
  • Be a team player and a good friend who will contribute to our unpretentious culture
  • Eager to roll up your sleeves when needed and do what is needed to drive the company forwards
  • You have 3+ years of experience managing teams of engineers, in product or similar capacity
  • You have a technical background and are comfortable with reading code
  • You are skilled in understanding technical challenges, and are comfortable in facilitating technical discussions and decisions
  • You are excited about launching mvp experiments and learning from the customers for iteration
  • You are a natural problem solver and analyst, who can identify risk and suggest strategies for alleviating it
  • You are passionate about great products, new technologies, changes, dynamics, and smart teams that make a difference
  • Excellent communication skills. Fluent skills in English, speaking as well as writing
  • Most importantly – you have a deep passion and interest in Bitcoin and the dream of internet money
  • You either have worked in the industry already, have extensive experience as a user of services in this space, and have opinions on how things should be or not be
