To sustain the company’s growth and to better meet the challenges, the Ledger Vault firmware team, responsible for developing and maintaining the code that will be executed in the HSM platform, wants to strengthen its team.

Missions

  • Participate in the design of a new architecture for the Ledger Vault,
  • Hands on porting part of the existing C code to RUST,
  • Add support of new blockchains in the platform,
  • Improvement of our software development tools, patterns and overall product security architecture and work closely with our internal security team,
  • Interaction with Internal Software engineering teams and Product teams working on Ledger Vault,
  • Add new ambitious product features.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Computer Science,
  • Engineering or similar field,
  • Relevant experience in Rust,
  • Relevant experience in C with optimization and security pitfalls,
  • Relevant experience in Python 3 and associated test frameworks,
  • Used to work with git and its associated development workflows,
  • Experience using cryptography primitives (hash, symmetric and asymmetric algorithms),
  • Being comfortable with containerization and consuming/exposing services over different protocols such as REST or gRPC.

Nice to have

  • First experience in a secure environment (HSM, TEE, secure element),
  • Interest in computer security,
  • Good knowledge of blockchain technologies,
  • Knowledge of consensus protocols,
  • Knowledge of INFRA requirements and tools is a plus,
  • First experience with GO language is a plus.
