We’re looking for talented & energetic sales professionals to join us in our Digital Sales Center in Dublin.
Your Role and Responsibilities
In your role as a Digital Development Representative, your primary focus will be around on generating opportunities, closing your own deals where possible and developing strong Channel relationships. You will be responsible for delivering account insights and building high quality pipeline through both your own research & inbound responses generated from marketing activity. You will act as a subject matter and a trusted advisor for clients to cultivate customer relationships for more complex sales solutions. Responsibilities for this role include:
- Validating Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) primarily originating from digital inbound and marketing campaigns and generating Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) for “selling pods” and channel partners
- Executing outbound business development activities for specific offerings with an emphasis on cross-selling and upselling to IBM clients
- Putting your client first, being prepared to tackle challenges, solve problems, and work with your cross-functional team of subject matter experts to get things done
- Canvassing and developing target accounts (including new customers, commercial (SME) and enterprise)
- Providing insight into target accounts, structure and priorities so that our sales teams can point their efforts most effectively.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in lead generation/business development
- Technical knowledge in Data & AI
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a strong focus on client satisfaction
- The ability to have a business conversations across all levels
- Proven ability to leverage resources throughout the business to solve complex problems
- Skilled in customer account management (and use of CRM tools like Atlas).
- Results-driven, collaborative team player attitude
- Native/fluent German and fluent English language

- Passion for technology and the ability to understand the B2B tech market
- Digital savvy representative that can become the new IBM Data & AI Ambassador
