The Company is looking for a DevOps engineer to help them build and deliver applications on the Tezos blockchain. Tezos is an environmentally-friendly proof-of-stake blockchain. Their team is supporting the Tezos Foundation with applications to build the ecosystem of the blockchain for users and developers. The company is a small but growing cross-functional team of developers and strategists who believe that blockchain technology has the potential to empower people across the globe

In this role you will be automating their existing processes, managing their servers, implementing monitoring and reporting to prevent and identify problems, as well as working with the engineering team to define infrastructure and deployment requirements. The work also includes monitoring, managing, and supporting their white label marketplaces, setting up and maintaining oversight of ticketing and help desk services, and ensuring the reliable work of internal and customer-facing services.

What You’ll Do

Manage their development and production servers, across different real (!) machines and cloud services.

Automate releases, upgrade, everything that can be automated.

Work with the development team to help them make software which can be easily and reliably deployed

Set up structures and procedures to support the above goals

Manage ticketing and help-desk services

Develop tools, scripts and playbooks to speed up processes and automate common tasks
